Try a different document attention window without changing Sidecar’s seeded demo settings.

Document dates

Expiration attention window

Default: 45 days. Documents inside this window are shown as Expiring. Imported “Expiring” statuses dated beyond this window are shown as a status conflict. Simple expiration tracking setup.

Default: 10 customers. Today keeps the highest-ranked customers here; use All Work for the full backlog.

These values apply only to your current demo session. They do not modify the seeded demo or another visitor’s settings.

Tracked parties

Track who a document or requested item belongs to when it is not simply the primary workspace/company. This is subject context only, not a compliance certification system.

Demo mode shows tracked parties so document ownership makes sense, but party management is disabled for the public demo.

Email templates

Demo templates are visible for review, but editing is disabled.

Data ownership

Export workspace

Download the demo workspace as a multi-sheet workbook or as a zip file containing CSV-format data files. Customer workspaces export the same kinds of records using your own data. Both exports include customers, platforms, documents, tasks, all work views, import history, and preserved metadata.

Workspace exports are portable, human-readable data—not a lossless database restore format. Use Sidecar backup and restore for exact recovery. Reimporting an export is reviewed conservatively and may require intervention for records linked to multiple customers or platforms.
